This is a great platform bed, it gives plenty of storage space under it, you can use a bed skirt to hid it. with the 8 legs it is sturdy. The frame is sturdy & heavy duty. It will need 2 people to put together, it is heavy. Just follow the directions it is easy. Making sure middle leg bolts fit before tighten nuts. Make sure you have room to fit this bed frame in the room & can work on both sides of the frame, put it together upside down then turn over, will need help lifting & moving it. It holds the mattress still so it won't move off it. I had a regular bed frame before & you could not sit at the foot of the bed because it would go down & the top end would go up.
